There are many unsung heroes but im very proud to know that people like Jean and Dave put in the amount of time and effort that they do.

 

Im sure there are many many more in the background who dont use this site and its really been a great effort by all.

2 things about Dave Felstead -

 

i would like to be offered some sort of fans rep role under the new regime.

i cant wait to see his face when they officially unveil the sproson statue as he among others deserve a medal for battling on with that.

Dave has been a star as have a few others but I must admit a 'steady Eddie' like Mr Felstead was a big bonus and his chairmanship of today's meeting was spot on.

Pleased it went well, I arranged my holiday around the EGM before I found out about the Baddeley Green meeting - am away currently and annoying my wife with how much this is on my mind in the middle of my holiday - wish i could've been there!!

 

Am I right in thinking though, that should we vote for all of the resolutions, we will sacrfice our club to one man (whoever it may be) by getting rid of the 24.9% rule - this Wednesday could be the last EGM called by the shareholders - unless we protect the constitution that is.

Company law allows ordinary shareholders to requisition an EGM as long as they have the support of the holders of 5% of the shares. That will not change after Wednesday whatever happens.

Fair play Dave. You obviously have very strong views on the current board, but you were able to put those to one side and present a well balanced forum. You gave ample opportunity, in fact you encouraged any pro board supporters to give their views.

I got trust you will make the right decision..as the feeling is there to see...which u will find out in your work u got ahead.
