Decent fixtures. Home first day, Boxing Day and last day. As good as we could have hoped I think. Shame Bristol away is a Tuesday night again though.

Cant fault those fixtures, home first up against a local team, hope to sheff boxing day, home last match of the season, play crewe away early, all the other major teams look like Saturday games. Happy days.

Looking fwd to Bristol away and Yeovil away...should make both of those. Possibly Swindon away as well cos of the date. Possibly also Fleetwood as in North Wales when that happens..so not too far away:unsure:

 

All in all some big games and a good fixture list at the start

I'm very happy with the majority of those fixtures (for once).

 

Positives;

 

At home on the opening day,

At home on August 30th,

Fleetwood away on a Saturday,

At home on Boxing Day (Sheffield United as well, which is a bonus),

Rochdale away on Bank Holiday Monday,

Yeovil away in April,

At home on the final day,

All new grounds on Saturdays at appropiate times.

 

 

Negatives;

 

Crewe away in September (missing it due to holiday!),

Gillingham away in November,

Bristol City away on a Tuesday night (again!),

Swindon away just after Christmas,

MK Dons away at the end of November.

As has been said, great fixtures for first game, Boxing Day and last match. Well chuffed with the Walsall and Sheff Utd fixtures. Fleetwood away is a good excuse for a family weekend away with 'the illuminations' being on down the road!

 

I see that we've not got a New Year's Day game but we are playing on Sat 3rd Jan. The Premier League however are playing New Year's Day and then just 2 days later is FA Cup 3rd round day on Sat 3rd Jan - can see many Prem bosses moaning about that one (especially Welsh ones!!)

Definitely cant make the first home game and will struggle for the next two. Season ticket looking good value.:(
