Best centre back if not defender at the club so this is good news. Even though the left side of the defence struggled coming towards the end of last season, i still feel we are stronger that side than Robertson and Yates on the right and that is where i feel we need to strengthen personally. Peter Clarke and a young attacking right back would do nicely Micky...

i wonder if we can bring Jack grimmer back on loan again from fulham :).

I doubt they'd let him come back.

 

Even if he wasn't part of their immediate plans for next season, they pulled him out of Vale after the fracas at Bristol City. If they thought there was even the slightest problem of the same thing happening they'd err on the side of caution.

Really good news Duffy signing a new two year contract.

 

He showed that he is a class player played as a Centre half, probably one of the best centre halves in this division when you look at his reading of the game and positional play.

 

Hes good but certainly not one of the best in the league...
