People surely CANNOT now find ANY reason not to get on board next season!!!! Smurf is bending over backwards basically extending the early bird prices (via various redemptions etc), payment plans, 10 game tickets, free under 9's, cheap junior pricing....and injecting 25% extra of all sales......christ short of giving them away and picking you up before every game and dropping you home after the guy has delivered everything asked by the supporters possisble IMO if we dont get 5k we NEVER will and before those who use the excuse 'i wont sign up until players and Mickey sign' start, how about you support your club and get on board early increasing the incentive and money available to offer to the formentioned staff to sign.

 

come on build the buzz and pack the park vale fans

I think if Micky signs thats the last excuse people have used gone.

 

You have to respect people whose financial situation may have changed for the worse, nothing you can do in those cases but as you say there is not a lot else he can do other than what you suggest.

Yes, there's definitely a change in him and he must have learned a lot from a business he would never come across before during the last year or so. Just need the manager position sorting out now...

Always risky to take on a business that you are unfamiliar with, the main thing is to be willing to learn and listen to the customers. Plenty of comments on here, SC, and elsewhere, lots of ideas are now included from feedback. He is also setting his stall out for a promotion push, back him or mid table, that is up to the fans, and of course who is our manager. Interesting times. I know he could have employed a CEO, he may well do one day when he has grasped the business, but football is very interesting and he may prefer the public profile.
