The government gave away the tax payers interests when the school became an academy.

Don't get me started on them. It's only a month or so since they have just been moved on from the football pitches up there. Couple of weeks ago I picked up a regular who works for the FA at grass routes level, he was saying when they left, the state on the pitches was horrendous with Human excrement all over the place.

Once had a job from Kidsgrove taxi base, before I got chance refuse I'd got 2 of them in my car. Thinking it's easier to just take them, get to Goldenhill, one gets out and just walks over and starts kicking **** out of the telephone box on the High Street. And don't even mention Billy Price.

It's got to the point where the lads just won't pick up from their site at Lynehouses due to the amount of trouble and runners. Scum of the earth.

Not too concerned about the academy,I'm more concerned about the local residents,who have to put up with all the disruption and abuse caused by these people who contribute nothing to society.

I do wonder why there when its not their land they can't be removed straight away instead on the drawn out procedures.

I think it's all down to the paperwork and the fact that they always do it at the weekends,they will then appeal to slow the whole process down and then they'll repeat the action in a another location.

Pity they dont get towed away and crushed like untaxed or uninsured cars... but then who would tarmac the drives cheap?

Isn't there a site for travellers with electricity, running water and toilet facilities at Goldendale the other side of Bathpool (5 miles away) or have they wrecked that to.

Until there is the threat (and actuality) of seizure of assets and imprisonment for public order offences this will simply not go away
