Werskint.I have been following your posts and in most cases I think you are totally correct. Some on here can't see the wood from the trees as far as Smurf is concerned. He is a very dangerous owner and the future is bleak.

Most can see that but the way that Werskint comes across is that he/she is a much more successful business person.

A lot of people are concerned about what is going on,what will happen.Werskint just want's to be the person that can stand up and say 'I told you so".

I've seen the covenant, it was dated 20th November 2012, and it was agreed between Alchemy Land Ltd, PVFC Ltd, and SOT City Council.

I think Werskint is barking up the wrong tree with this one.

So what have you got to say now werskint?

Just ignore Santa's post then and carry on **** stirring. It's easier.
Whether there is a covenant on the land isn't really relevant to Smurthwaite's plans. I hope that there is one because the land will be worth very little so he couldn't go holding a gun to any new owner's head

The 5000 break-even figure when we were in admin was when we had a wage bill of £1.2m. Its now £2.5m so do the maths.
Angel it isn't that simple because there are several factors to add to the equation including improved sponsorships and FL 1 payments etc. Remember it was the Smurf's team who 'cooked' up the 6,500 figure and no one else.

I think the covenant will only become an issue for Norm if he decides to ask for an exuberant amount of rent in the future, & if the new owners refuse to pay it. A bit like the Coventry situation. Means Norm would have a stadium standing doing nowt & us having to find somewhere else to play. I can't see that situation happening but you just don't know do you, the possibility exists. Depends if Norm is as stubborn as the Coventry owners in that situation i suppose.

Anyway, still means we'll have no stadium to call our own & still have to pay rent, so the covenant doesn't change anything for me, i'm still not happy with the situation. Vale Park is a part of our club & history & should always remain in the hands of the present custodians of the club.

Never mind cooked up, I think you'd have to be coked up to come up with that figure.

That figure was very vague, as it wasn't clear how many of those would be ST holders, pay-on-the-day, children , OAP'S etc.

I hope that next time round the financial forecast takes account of long-term trends in Vale's attendances.

If that had been done originally, more realistic and achievable figures would have been arrived at.

(and the small matter of half-a-million quid going missing didn't help matters of course).
