Two teams automatically and a third goes into the play offs. U€FA have extended the finals to 24 teams I think.

 

I generally enjoy Euros more than World Cups because they're about the right size, no bum teams, fewer mismatches, you don't get sick of three matches a day after about a week like you do with the World Cup.

 

Now they've made the Euros too big. When I was a kid they were too small.

 

Qualifying looks boring. Everyone half decent should qualify at a canter so why bother watching?

France will play ten friendlies in Group I , as they will qualify as hosts anyway. Another one of Sepp Blatter's 51 ideas a day. What an idiot this man is, and he has done a lot of damage to football. Easy draw for England .

This is UEFA not FIFA,man to blame is Platini.

Eh? France would have to play friendlies anyway, so it makes sense to do what they've done. Hosting teams have struggled to organise friendlies in the past, now it's been done for them.

 

The English are always so desperate to find something wrong with UEFA or FIFA, they refuse to accept it when one of them actually has a good idea.

The teams in our group will not create much interest apart from Switzerland,so I suggest we play at venues other than Wembley to avoid the embarrassment of a half empty stadium.

 

No chance that will happen with the FA needing to get as many events at Wembley as possible. One of the biggest white elephants in the world.
