Also, why is it certain players always have a field day against us, today's prime example being Fattyfenwa? He's talented but he's also a big pudding who can't last 90 minutes & it isn't like we're not aware of what he does. He hasn't scored for 6 games but he gets two against us, as usual. Grrr!!

Embarrassing but it is only one game. Forget the play offs until we sort out our defending.

 

Unfortunately, it isn't just one game - this is the sixth time in the league this season that we've conceded 3 or more goals. So you're right about the play offs - we can forget it while we defend like this. And it's not just the back four!

That could be the end of all the playoff talk but in all honesty we are 3 quality signings shy of that. Still I'd be chuffed with top ten this season.

 

To be honest I would be amazed if we made the play offs and I've thought that all season. In August I was hoping we would just be secure in the division and wouldn't be looking over our shoulders and that SHOULD be the case. We've come a long way in 12 / 18 months, it's just annoying to roll over to a team who we know are very average.

We're a very, very average League One side, and when we don't turn up we even get turned over by poor footballing sides like Gillingham.

 

All the talk about play-offs is absolute nonsense. It we finish in the top half of the table this season then that's a small miracle, and one that the manager would deserve huge credit for.

 

It's also time for Tom Pope to be dropped, despite his efforts last season in what was a much poorer league. Let's give Hugill and Williamson a proper chance.

Back to back promotions would have been to much to soon. The jump from lg1 to champ is massive i said to my m8s we wouldn't go up this season but i think a top10 finish is realistic tbh
