I think the FA really need to look at this issue, certainly if a ground has three covered stands as Gillingham has. No away end should be open to the elements in instances like this.

They should have access to equivalent facilities, or is it a Gills ploy to reduce the quantity of visitors?

I have e-mailed Gillingham twice to ask if they will allow away fans to take umbrellas in to the ground on Saturday if the weather is bad no reply from them as yet.

A few years ago it absolutely bucketed down and half the away fans had umbrellas, they can`t possibly stop you if you want such a thing. Has anyone ever been turned away from a ground anywhere for carrying a brolly?
