According to the latest edition of 'Derek I'm Gutted', the last home game of the season against Sheffield United at the end of April has been moved to the Friday night because, yes you've guessed it, our nasty neighbours are at home on the same day as us. I have not seen this anywhere else up to date and both our official website and Sheffield's official website still have the game shown as the Saturday at 3pm. Having said that, Tottenham have their game at Sjoke also shown as the Saturday at 3pm on their official website. While I am not surprised by this news, can anyone confirm that our game has officially been switched.

Sky might pick Stoke v Tottenham for TV.

 

Also, the Thursday night before is the date of the 1st leg of the Europa League semis, which would automatically force Stoke's game to a Sunday if Spurs are still in the competition.

That's because it's Good Friday and it gives us an extra rest day before the fixture on Easter Monday. Stoke are away that weekend.

It's in the Vale programme as Friday night. Basically it will be Friday unless Stoke's game is on TV on the Sunday.

They have been there before, have won 4 FA Cups, and in the century before last were Champions of England and beat Vale 10-0 in Cobridge. But I think with Clough they will survive, may even knock Fulham out of the Cup, and thus allow Grimmer to play in the 5th round for us?

The Sheffield United game is on Friday 25th April kick off 7.45 I have booked the Directors Box with my two Sons for that game, I thought it was Saturday until I got the tickets.
