Sorry, my mistake, I thought it was the shirt article. I am confused on the shirt article also, I assumed it arose on Saturday with an update being requested in the afternoon after the morning article, which I did not see until Sat night. Unfortunately for Smurf this incident along with his continual use of Twitter illustrates his complete naivety in running a football club. He should have appointed a CEO, and hold people to account within the organisation. He tells everyone that he is worth 50 million but has he accumulated this wealth through running companies or buying and selling property?It is a big step to move from the latter to running a company on a daily basis let alone a football club. Better and more wealthy men than Smurf have tried and failed.His early assertion that running the Vale was akin to running Audi illustrates his naivety. Looking forward to hearing his interview at 5pm on Radio Stoke. He still deserves our full support if what he says adds up.

 

One thing is for sure he needs to rid himself of the members of the Shop staff and the Commercial department involved who have let him down so badly on the 3rd shirt issue. It may have been Wildes idea but its his and his staff's responsibility to have dealt with it professionally.

100% right Smithie - best football we've seen in a very long time - Although important, recent slurs regarding NS in particular are "relatively" less important than the bigger picture of an improving football Club and Team.
