Calling OVF mobile users...

I notice that nearly a quarter of our usage is now through mobile/tablet devices and that is likely to grow so I am interested in how everyone is accessing OVF through mobile/tablet devices.

 

The three main ways to connect I am aware of are:

 

1. BROWSER - accessing OVF through your phone/tablet's browser

2. TAPATALK - using Tapatalk to access the forum

3. OVF APP - using our "official" app to access the forum

 

If you are a mobile user I would be grateful if you can reply letting me know:

 

1. Which of the three methods (browser/tapatalk/ovf app) you use?

2. The device you use (e.g. iPhone/iPad/Android phone etc)?

3. If you have any comments/problems with your method?

And here's an example of the sort of thing I need. This would be my reply:

 

"I use all three on my Google Nexus 7 and they work OK for me (which is why I want to find out if others are having problems). I must admit Tapatalk is the easiest method I have found."

hi rob.i use a galaxy s2 phone and pc. i use chrome on my phone and never have any problems

I use tapatalk on both my galaxys and tab and use browser on the computer.

 

Both work fine i tried the app from ovf but prefer tapatalk tbh but each to there own :)

Thank you both, exactly the stuff I need to know. I need to know what people think (good and bad) as I am considering a major mobile makeover.

 

I have a good idea what I think will work but I want to see what you guys say before I draw any conclusions.

I use the app on my iphone but can only get the forum page.

I use it on my iPhone and iPad. I've used tapatalk, the ovf app and safari browser to access it, however I only ever use tapatalk now as it is by far the easiest to use, and has the most useful features available. To the point were I've used it on my phone/ iPad whilst at my computer as it's easier.

I use the ovf app on the I phone 4s and iPad sometimes the app throws me out - is that the technical term

Av got the IPHONE 5 and use TAPATALK ,no problems at all,

When I access by phone I use the browser on my Blackberry Torch. It's slow. I know you may consider me to be in the dark ages, but I don't feel like spending hundreds on an iPhone or iPad. Might be a nice Christmas present from a kind family member. :)
