Pay on the gate

Recommended Posts

Not saying he is out of his depth at all. I totally understand the situation I run a 50 million pound operation currently. Sometimes you can operate for so long making big decisions and paying other people to make smaller decisions you get out of the habit. Ask yourself this why did it take wildes to alert him to the vales potential. Smurf has not made low level (and they will be too him) decisions for many years. Love smurf he is the saviour of my club but he needs a CEO.

Ok so if understanding multi million pounds commercial business makes me a **** then that's your opinion and if its your life long dream to go to wolves good luck to you pal

The fact that we may not have had a club 12 months ago does make me grateful that I can look forward to us playing wolves.. Unfortunately people like you won't be happy until we have won the champions league..

And understanding a commercial business does not make you capable of running a football club.. Many have tried and failed..

Your post had no substance apart from the fact you can't be arsed to que.. If I have to choose between quing for a few minutes or the money saved going back into the squad then id que..

Get some perspective please

Fidel Castro once worked out how many days of your life you lost just by shaving.

Then they should go without the shave and go to vale instead? Great suggestion. More people at vale and more beards! Cheeky will be pleased. After the success of 'going gay for griff' how about 'grow a beard for smurf'!

Really?

Really?

Seriously, just **** off!

All I am saying is that smurf needs some help to make the club even more money will try to explain

He appoints miss money penny on 45k

Her KPIs key performance indicators are the following

Season ticket sales go up year on year by 10%

Pay on the gate 5% week on week

Kids tickets 50% year on year

Catering weddings 5% year on year

Shirt sales 10%

Club shop current retail 2 % growth year on year

Catering ground 10% growth

Family stand to include function centre for birthday parties 2%

Marketing manager reports to miss money penny direct

They build a visible 5 year plan

Smurf is brilliant just needs some lower level help imo

Firstly,if it was just financial return you wanted, I doubt a football club is the best option. Secondly, wildes left, surely that's highlights that he is a far worse option than the guy who stayed and financed us! Yet you argue the opposite. I am genuinely gobsmacked!

I am pointing out smurf is really high level investor who can tend to miss low level stuff would benefit from some paid help. Exactly why the programme back to the floor was made and why I have no clue how to operate a till in one of my shops.

Based in what? Season ticket sales are already up? I would be willing to bet that pay on the gate will go up (to use something that hasn't happened to argue he is out of his depth sums up your posts), as will the rest. You have based you opinions on thin air. Have you seen what's happening behind the scenes? Do you know the figures so far (apart from the pleasing increase in ticket sales)? Surely for such a big business consultant you will be able to back such nonsense up.

You have no idea of his capability. We have turnstile operators so we are fine there anyway. Your opening post suggest he is not capable of the high end decisions. To talk about operating a til as though its the same as corporate facilities, caterers, ticketing systems etc is nonsense.

Did I dream this or were we not promised a 21st century system where we could go on line top up a card and pay before you go.

Tickets are just a pain in the ****. May have to have a pint or two less whilst I queue for my ticket not well thought out. And yes we are getting a new ticket office I know but if it has the 6th lowest wage budget in league one will still mean queuing.

The varnish wides added has become a little more bell esque in recent weeks tommy s open 2 nights bands welcome smurf appeals for volunteer painters ( hope billy applies). Family stand is a section of bycars sectioned off. Caterers not signed up yet. Shirt sponsors delayed they want mickey on the photos.

All food and drink to a modern chief exec.

Smurf has invested in business but lacks the hands on day to day stuff and is now struggling a bit with the low level day job.

The need to go to the ticket office before going into the ground would put me off, to be honest. If I can buy online and print my own, I will, so no problem at all for me. If they are post only, again a problem - I often dont decide to come up for a game until Friday night.

I am obviously not privy to all of the facts and do not have the figures. I am talking about a return on investment a second party would have attending wedding shows, corporate shows for christmas parties booking top acts and company conferences, leasing with local schools . Advertising kids parties. Band nights quiz nights car boots sale revenue. The list is endless for me just saying for 40 to 50 k we could generate 1.5 mil. Ok just ask smurf what acts can I see at my 70 pounds per head christmas party starting November 12th.
