When Vale played at Dagenham had they played at Hartlepool two days previously ?

 

Newcastle were away to Man U on Boxing day last year(150 miles) and away to Arsenal (300 miles) 3 days later. Man City were away to Sunderland and Norwich. That's life. Live with it and stop moaning. Stoke and Vale are very fortunate in that their geographical position makes life far less difficult for their fans than for many others.

I understand exactly what you're saying, Wezza, and I agree with you on the supporter front but that's not what Coates was moaning about. He doesn't give a stuff that the fans will be seriously inconvenienced - he was moaning about his players having two away games over Christmas and as I said above, I don't think he's got a leg to stand on.
