It just seems very OTT and the bigging-up of Adams seems very Bill Brattish. To say there will be an offer for Adams on the table, fair enough, we're happy with that but all this about MA being' unloved' and 'considering his future' and sitting down this week and hoping he'll sign etc etc. It sounds like panic, as if we're doomed without him staying.

 

He'll be saying he needs a cuddle next.

 

It is definitely not Bill Brattish, just comments from a businessman who wants his senior management team in place to take the club(and HIS business) to the next level. Maybe he is aware of approaches for Adams and I am sure that I answer for everybody that I would prefer to have him at least for the next 2 seasons, than have the past management appointment C**k ups which left us in a precarious position. If he is on a loner contract and wants to leave it will Cost a lot more to release him and yes If he fail....IF... then it could cost us to get rid but that is a risk worth taking

Maybe he does! The problem at Vale is we have an intrinsic tendency to got OTT & self destruct whenever things go slightly pear shaped. We get on the players/manager's back whenever they have an off day. Bristol Rovers last season was proof of that. Admittedly we've had more than a gut full of knock backs & false dawns but we need to forget all that now. Micky did a phenomenal job last season, maybe he wasn't given enough credit by some.
