An open day would be a good idea,open up the ground for a family day out to celebrate promotion and the plans for next season,sometime after the fixture list is announced.

People are having a go at getting back off the pitch when asked so the players can celebrate, NOT going on there in the first place! Wen you can debate that point then come back and stop missing the point.

 

Back on topic, although we wont be having an open top bus, Smurf did say on Signal he would like a disco celebration at VP to be organised or failing that a promotion celebration night in the town of Burslem itself.

It would be nice to have an Open Day on a Sunday too, as we could invite all the heroes from this season,past and present, back for a celebration day for us all.Lets all start to build bridges now and look forward to next season.

Westport Lake - People are p***ed off with the mindless morons who would not get off the pitch and allow the players to come out and say their farewells to the fans. Some will not be at Vale Park come the new season and probably wanted to come over and say thanks. But this was spoilt.
