I'd suggest a net cost of £300 would be about right. Remember, we all have been impressed with the way Wildes and Smurf have put their money where their mouths are, particularly the investment in January on Hughes/Purse/Jones/Birchall who really did help us get over the line. Port Vale now has to become self sufficient. To operate on this basis in a higher league, which will equate to higher salaries, means we (the fans) will also be expected to play our part. 6000 ST's at £300 amounts to £1.8m, that's a good start in my opinion to giving Micky a competitive League One budget.

I agree, 1.8m just off season tickets should be achievable.

£300 is a fair price but I think 6000 is optimistic unless there's another incentive involved e.g. £100 up front and the rest as monthly interest free Direct Debit.

Money upfront is what the club need . If you want to pay in instalments start paying for 2014/15.

Fans who bought a ST for this season should be rewarded with an extra reduction. These are the people who gave the club money up front at the start of this season when the club really needed it.

Dont bite the hand that feeds. Lets save some of theirs for the mid season push. The logistics of collecting instalments if the season dies are not good either.

Agree, but £300+ up front won't sell so easy in such tight times. I think £100 up front with 4 or 6 direct debits would help shift a lot more. 2 direct debits will be paid up by time season starts.
