Stoke to go down?

I think yes cos Stoke can't improve their performances nor results from what I have seen and heard but Wigan, Villa and Sunderlan can (they have all done so in past few weeks)

 

So Wigan and Villa to overtake a failing SCFC, Sunderland to do enough to stay clear.

 

Which would be terrible for the people of SoT wouldn't it? Perhaps TP could plead that case with the FA so that only two clubs are relegated this season.

I don't think they will but next season - unless Pulis is replaced - its relegation and then administration and then relegation.

I think there is a good chance Stoke will be relegated as the football they're playing at the moment is very poor.

Seems as though the other teams in the Premier League have sussed them out and I can see them losing at QPR at the weekend too. Sunderland will be on a high after the game against Newcastle yesterday and the last game of the season is away at the Stadium of Light where I can't see Stoke getting anything there.

My wife is a Stoke fan and she's not confident of staying up, as are some of the people I work with.

How sweet it'd be if the Vale went up and they were only one division above us

I think wigans cup run will condemn them as the final team to go, they have a tough run in and something like 8 games in 4 weeks with a relatively small squad

Looks like Stoke's potential crunch match at Sunderland is on Sky on Monday May 6th and as I'll be up in Newcastle on that day and used to live in Sunderland (so have a soft spot for them) going to go to the match and hopefully watch the Mackems condemn SCFC to relegation!!!

I hope so as they are a local team, it's not for them to go down its for us to go up,wouldn't that be something,stoke v vale in the premier league,wishful thinking at the minute, but one never knows.

QPR have been playing OK but not getting the results they deserve. SCFC have been playing very badly and getting exactly the results that they deserve. QPR to win 2-0

 

Villa are doing OK and Wigan have some quality and are on a high..both are on an (admittedly not very steep) upward curve whereas SCFC are on a slippery slope and I don't see that they have what's needed to address that. It will come down to can Villa and Wigan pick up points rather than can Stoke

QPR have to play Stoke (h), Reading (a), Arsenal (h), Newcastle (h) and Liverpool (a) - they're doomed along with Reading.

I'd not expect them to get anything at City but they can beat Swansea...that for me would not be a surprise

I can see QPR getting a win v Stoke and maybe something against Newcastle but they are dooooomed..along with Reading

I can see Wigan getting more than 3 points from remaining games but can't see Stoke getting any given how they are playing
