On the topic of turnstiles, as anyone noticed how they av shrunk over the years of use , had a problem getting through last home match :(

There is a rumour Steve Evans is coming to this match to watch and learn in case his Rotherham side play Vale or Burton in the playoffs. I heard a rumour that Barry (Aussie Rules) isn't sure whether to count him as 1,2 or 3 towards the Guess The Crowd as it has never been made clear whether it is counted on bodies or number of seats filled.

scVale I can imagine if they did it would be the first time since the late 90s. Would be good to get them open and see it packed again.

Was having this discussion on Facebook last night. Someone said that the Bycars tickets were selling fast and I said that may mean we might be able to open up those old turnstiles at the bottom of Bycars, near the family stand. Does anyone know when the last time that they were used were?. Just curious, sad question ano.

 

Nah, they will just have the usual 2 open and a 1000 will get in at 8:20pm. :)

 

In all seriousness, I don't think it will be a big problem. I do expect the railway stand to be much more busier though.

 

I'm expecting a crowd of 8000 for sure!

 

If we can't get them through the gates for a top of the table clash and promotion very close, also £9 a ticket then we will never will....

I think they shrink in the summer sun, I have noticed that they are snugger at the start of every season and for some reason again over the Crimbo games
