Leave a bit earlier if you are planning using this route. Just been through and it's rammed already.

Roadworks in Middleport.

 

had to go to castle first then got stuck in it eventually went down a500 and came in through tunstall..

 

Because me lad was ill when nearly at the ground had to turn back .went over canal bridge and a set of road work lights there with no workmen or work started ,,bad planning on a easter friday as the traffic backed up to wolstanton and the a500 was at a standstill so couldnt get back to the game for what seemed no reason.:(

Only in stoke can the council plan stupid roadworks....they must have known there was a match on today!!! Had to go up the a500 mesen to get to the game...half an hour to crawl down port hill bank from top to bottom...brainless idiots!!

 

I didn't know about the roadworks at Longport and went that way to avoid the roadworks on Cobridge bank!!

The whole city no matter what route you drive on has been full of roadworks for about 6 months.

 

Currently off the top of my head we have Ash Bank, Lime Kiln, Hartshill, Middleport, and now Leek Rd by Stoke Station!!!

 

Couple that with previously Ash Bank ( the same place !! ) and High Lane its mental.

 

I,m sure there will be more that i,ve not come across
