Well the Pope as been shortisted for league 2 player of the year with cuerton and jones surely he'll win it with 27 goals upto now this season???

 

He needs to find his scoring boots ASAP if hes to win it as normally people wvote for the recent past and whilst he had a storming first half of the season he has gone a little quiet.

 

Wouldn't be surprised to see Gary Jones win it given Bradford's national coverage over their cup run.

I think that Jones will win it just the cup run. If the award was up to christmas then pope would win it but the award says SEASON. maybe you can tell deano its for league two not EUROPEAN footballer of the year.

To be honest I don't think he is even vales player of the season. Chris Neal for me has been equally impressive but goal keepers don't get all the headlines like forwards do.

Popey fully deserves it.worked hard during summer to get his rewards! Not only his goals but his overall play has been superb.

he might not be scoring right now,but hes still leading the line well.

some people think,because hes not scoring he been crap,but then some on here r looking for a reason knock him.
