Port Vale Logo

Valiant in Brum

Recommended Posts

My mind was ticking over and I was trying to think what could be done to appeal to all generations but keep the old logo while having something modern. Some supporters mention the founding year and staffs knot seem out of like they have been thrown there etc.

I was thinking for future reference as this logo will be in for next season then voted on after that, well I saw the barnsley logo, has the town crest incorperated in this modern design. What if we could bring the actual 50s logo back in this sort of styling or the new alterd version and place it withing something like this.

Just an idea don't shoot me or anything people ;), btw can admin correct the spelling mistake in Logo in the title.

By the shape of the logo it looks like the product of one of the kit manufacturers, the same one that supplies Arsenal. Nike?

Don't drink strongbow and haven't drank for 4 weeks now keep up. :). To the people saying has the badge already been picked, we are using the logo next season then fans will have the option of either keeping it or us having a brand new logo. Do keep up people the current logo change is only for a season to mark the anniversary season of the 1954 FA cup semi finalist squad, then we will get the choice of keeping it or changing it :).

Since when are we calling it a logo? It's a badge!

It can be referred to as a club logo or badge. It is after all the identity. It is the LOGO of the company. badge or logo can be used. Its like when a man calls a shirt a top. Sounds abit girly but I let it go over my head, when grown men say top. When is the new top out sounds feminine, when is the new shirt out more masculine. But never mind. Logo badge ? Same difference. :).

No it's not, it's technically a crest.

If it was just a badge then by definition it would only be used as a badge - on the players' kit. However, the PVFC crest is visible on the doors of the club entrance, on club literature, on the official website and in lots of other places.
