Am I the only one who thinks that the vale players and staff getting treated to a day out at the races straight after that woeful performance on Tuesday is an insult to the fans who have paid hard earned cash to see the team recently? where is the consistency that Adams has shown in the past by making players train on there days off and putting the whole team on the transfer list etc after poor performances?

Then in that case why was it being organised when we are at this crucial stage of the season and have been in dire form long before Tuesday? What's it going to be next week let's see what aldershot brings and so on until we find that its the end off the season and you hear all hard luck rubbish like "you would of settled for this when we were in admin" etc etc etc

I remember a good few years ago me and a mate were in 'stones' in caslte ( ok ages ago.lol) the majority of the then vale squad came in after a heavy defeat. 5-1 I think. My mate was livid that they were out partying. I reminded him that they had had a bad day at work just like him and were entitled to let they're hair down. So a day off/out is fine by me. Hope it helps to galvanise the squad for York.
