No-one has called him the messiah have they? I certainly haven't.

 

Micky has done a lot more things right this season than wrong and deserves credit where credit is due. Certain posters only rear their ugly heads when there is a chance to stick the boot in (like the original poster of this thread who from evidence of posts is a little bit special) and when things have gone well they are nowhere to be seen......

 

My point was that some opinions you get slated for, yet others you aren't. Why isn't there an outpouring of concern that pope didnt score alongside Andrew? Question certain opinions and you get the whole 'in Micky we trust' mantra. Its a message board to discuss tactics, selections etc. It gets blown out of proportion by people, and its ridiculous.

I think what's bothering some people most is that any disagreement or criticism smacks of disunity. We had enough of that during the MOLD era and now things are finally going right for us it's seen as rocking the boat.

 

We should be big enough now to understand that if we disagree on something the world isn't going to come crashing down.

Underrated by many, as mentioned he has done ok in the main. Played very well on saturday and looks a decent League 2 squad player, though I still do not think he is a striker.

Andrew has always done ok when he's played imo. Can't understand all this flak he's getting on here. Its ridiculous.

 

Vincent has been dreadful for weeks, yet faced little or critisim at all. Its seems its one rule for certain players and different one for others!

Vincent was getting quite a bit of stick when he missed a sitter in the 2nd half on saturday...

i just dnt see him as a striker..in a pope or hughes mould.

but i crnt answer you what his best position is, in what ive seen he seems to be a decent enough player to hold the ball up n use his strength as a different option but off the bench.

is he good enough for a quicker needed tempo at home?

hopefully hughes n dodds are fit...but can see micky going with same 11.

vincent needs a rest...was poor vs morecombe,sounds not at his best sat.

he is a good player,maybe just lacking in confidence & fitness...rest could get him going again.
