I have a property near there and know a number of their fans, they wouldn't want Micky, I can't seriously imagine for one second he would go anywhere near that club at the moment with how its being run.

 

Anyway I understand Bowyer has it until the end of January which is odd as if they do appoint in February the new man has lost a transfer window.

 

Exactly what a close mate go mine who is a Blackburn fan told me

Blackburn won't want MA. Adams is a decent manager with a footballing brain and experience. Given their last few appointments Micky is not the type of person who fits their criteria!

 

Infact I may email them and suggest Shane Warne, he has better qualifications to do the job than the last 2 guys

Ah, oddschecker, such a reliable source of information. I mean it's not like betting companies create odds based on profit or anything is it :rolleyes:

 

Having said that, Adams won't leave Vale based on what's happened in the past and league position.

 

The reason he left for SU was because of speculation on this site, that led to rumours in the wider footballing world, which the SU board picked up on and thought "hang on a minute, maybe we should be going for this guy, he seems popular, he's a Blade, let's get him in for an interview!".

I absolutely agree that Adams would be mad to go there and was merely commenting on what I had read.

I see no reason for the thread to be closed any more than one linking the club to a transfer target or Supervaliant to Taylor Swift.

He failed at Sheffield Utd what on earth thinks he'll be considered just because of this season? There are better option out there as opposed to Micky.

Anybody who hires a manager based on speculation on another club's forum should never run any business, let alone a football club.

Blackburn really are a sinking ship, they only pulled in a gate of 5,500 for their FA Cup 3rd round game at the weekend. A far cry from their glory years of winning the Premier Leauge and competing with United in the 1990s.

 

They're favourites to take our crown under V2001 of being the 'most dysfunctional club in Britain'.

 

Football wise, pretty much agree with Lady_Vale. Adams hasn't pulled up any trees during the past few years at Championship/League One level during spells with Brighton (2nd spell), Coventry and of course Sheff Utd.

 

I believe he's a very good manager at our level. However the jury is still very much out on him if he wants to manage at a higher level. Most other clubs with any sort of sense who are looking for a manager will realise this.

the fa cup aint what it used to be. sheff utd are a bigger club than blackburn and if you take away the away support from us thay got 7000 fans at £10 admission,
