Reckon this guy could have possibly been the solution to our concerns at Left back. A very quick player who likes to get forward and put in a cross and take on opposite full backs, always liked this guy.

Why is everyone so obsessed about full backs who can beat a man and cross a ball? We have wingers who can do that.

Primarily, i just want a full back that can defend. Its what we are desperately lacking.

Adam Morgan who has just gone to rotheram from the vale could have been a very good signing for us!

I have no concerns at left back, unless Adams keeps dropping Yates.

However, he may play the Yates-Taylor combo this Saturday, which many are not comfortable with.

Only one priority, a centre half. Seems to be a split between dropping Chilvers (my choice for the chop) or McDonald (or dropping both!!!)

I quite like loft left back and yates can do a job there. I also think it was him who got subbed early on in the 6-2 thrashing of rotherham as he got terrorised by myrie williams. Personally, i think a new centre back is the priority at the moment - someone like krystian pearce. Maybe another striker too.

Always nice to have an extra option going forward though, especially on the counter away from home, nothing better than pushing forward outnumbering the oppo on the counter.

Chilvers, Big Mac, Owen and Boom (despite his cult status) are all way to slow. Someone like Krystian Pearce would be a good shout

Absolutely totally agree! The fashion for defenders to attack has been with us for far too long.

Defenders MUST be able to defend properly - that should be their number 1 priority.

bolton are trying to prise craig davies from barnsley. he's got a release clause in his contract so thats us out of the hunt as they're skint and will be wanting biggest penny.

Apart from not being able to afford the required transfer fee or his wages, I couldn't see him dropping down 2 divisions anyway, despite our promotion chasing credentials. I do think he would be an excellent signing, but I think that this is just wishful thinking.

Amen, I must admit Micky does seem to love such players at centre half, its a mystery as to why we have never found a semi-mobile centre half with a turn of pace. The closest thing we had to that in recent years was Collins and he played anywhere but centre half most of the time.
