“even the milkman has employed a rear-gunner when he goes through tunstall.....”

Unfortunately, in 2008 this milkman couldn't afford to employ a rear-gunner.

After 3 'incidents' in just 9 months in the job, I decided that the risks far out weighed the benefits.

Which was the worst area in your day?

My day started at 2am.

I covered, amongst others places, Park Estate, Stanfields, Greenfields, and the Stanley St area of Tunstall.

Out of the four areas mentioned, the only place that there were no incidents, and I actually felt safe in was Greenfields.

As for being the worst area, take your pick of the other three.

My day always finished with dropping off 2 bottles of sterra at the Vale reception.

I do find some of the people that comment on the Sentinel site really funny.

I went to a funeral yesterday and back to the Sneyd Arms in Tunstall Square. First time on Tunstall High Street for years and thought exactly the same thing. That's what happens when you put a retail park with free parking 300 yards away though I guess..........

I guess so

It just looked very sad, neglected etc etc and ahrdly anyone about in what was the middle of the day on I think a Friday

It'll get even worse when they complete the new Morrison's and Iceland stores.

Drove up Tunstall High Street recently for the first time in many years..was quite shocked by how shabby it looked..very sad to see what has happened to the once vibrant town that I used to know

Felt the same way when I returned a few years ago, then went to Wrights Pies in the square and was back in "heaven". Was going to go for a quick one in the Para but the kids were with me.
