Another Rumor

Recommended Posts

First off, please don't shoot the messenger. However last night I picked a group of Stokies up. Obvisouly conversation at first was about their day out, the standard of Wembley ect. However just before the last one got out, the subject changed to the Vale. The bloke then tells me, he has a bit to do with Bratt through business and Bratt has told him, they have got the Americans coming over this Wednesday. A figure of 600k was mentioned and the promise of a new training pitch. He did seem a genuine enough bloke, infact he did critise the board and said their time is nearly up. Apologies for not getting anymore info, but like I say, the conversation about the Vale, wasn't untill just before he got out.

Can't be the Texans who were here last November.

In the car park at Accrington Jackson completely dismissed them, their business model and the bloke behind the consortium, Billy Davies' brother.

He also said that Derby County warned them not to do business with them.

It was leaked on friday that Bratts altenative investor is real and they are going to release the details to stop Mo. Well Mo and Mark Simms are offering the club £5 million in total so £600k is not comparable and is papering over the cracks and is no doubt keeping Bratt in his comfy seat. The training pitch will be the redevlopment of the land they got at Chatterley Whitfield no doubt but don't have the funds to develop (nowt new there then!).

If it is the Texans coming over, I wonder if they will be given access to the information they weren't given during their first visit? Desparate men with desparate actions, why don't they just go? The EGM is the only hope we have of ridding the club of these lying parasites.

That will be the same Texan consortium that Jackson himself went over to the USA to speak to after their vist last year? Jackson, like the rest of the board, tells lies. They would appear to be willing to take money off anyone as long as it isn't the current deal put in front of them. It was the same with Newton and others before him.

Didn't Jackson publically ridicule Earl Barrat calling him a "chancer" when he was initially interested in the Vale, but as soon as Newton was on the scene jackson was courting Barratt?

He's sponsoring the trip, Malzaek arranged it and Bratt confirmed that when he said in the Sentinel, "I have know Brian Malzaek for over 18 years" whereas in reality he has only known him for 2 years!!

Bill Bratt is NOT i liar......Honest. :shifty:

And again why a US trip against some College sides.....Cash investment would have been better.

Guest Debbie

Apparently the Texan bid fell through because they wanted to float the Vale over there, as they didn't have the money, and wanted to install three people at the club on £150,000 each a year.

Bet you can't guess who told me that?????

Can't you just see what is going to happen. God, I am so sick of this.

Factually incorrect on many levels so probaly came from Bratt!! He has also said they provided the Texans with everything they had asked for, that is another lie as they didn't provide them with half the stuff or have the clubs financial controller present as requested.
