What now for Morsey?

McCombe returns to the team immediately after three match ban as does Vincent after one match ban. Loft and Duffy return immediately after injury. Morsey not even on the bench. OK there were genuine reason for these players' immediate return but Is Adams taking punishment too far? It seems that Adams is making it personal. I think that if this continues come January Morsey will want out on loan. Are we in danger of losing a true talent and does Adams care?

Adams knows Morsy better than anyone and is using this experience to get through to him.

 

MA would have warned him after the Oxford match and then again after his suspension and it fell on deaf ears - this is just to teach him a valuable lesson.

 

Morsy will regain his place by merit or default soon and he'll keep it as he did earlier this season.

I think he will start against Bradford next week in the JPT game. He's being taught a lesson that he won't forget. I just hope it doesn't change his game because the 'get stuck in' attitude is vital against some sides in this league.

 

At the moment though Adams should start the same 11 Saturday but I think he will keep Sheffield United guessing until the last minute.

Can't get back into a winning side. He'll no doubt get an opportunity in the future. I don't think it's personal, his disciplinary record basically makes him inconsistent, he has literally gone missing for 1/3 of the season.

He does need to change his game, retain competitiveness but take out the dangerous tackling the first does not imply the other. He also needs to raise his consistency level when actually on the pitch.

Gone missing for 1/3 of the season?! You been watching the same player?! He's been great in many of the games he's played in and been looking very decent! He'll be back in the team when needed. Just a shame about his poor disciplinary record!
