I'd prefer to see young Ryan Loyd out on the wing than Dodds.

 

Dodds has played there many times during his time here and only really damages the opposition when he finds himself in the middle of the pitch.

 

Let us keep up the dynamics of our team, get the ball out to the wings, attack their full backs, beat them and get the ball into Pope = GOAL!

 

Loyd, I believe will offer us that play whilst Dodds will be looking at cutting into the middle and into traffic.

 

Williamson has not taken his chance as well as Dodds in the Pope support role, so I'd start Dodds there and put Ben Williamson on the bench.

Interesting shout to play Davis at left back if that happens I can only see Adams playing Taylor on the wing although personally id like to see Lloyd take his chance.

Ryan Lloyd start for me. By the sounds of it they are slow at the back and he has bafs of pace and the odd trick. Get at them early... As someone else said, start Williamson too!

LB is certainly a problem, Taylor's not the answer, I wonder if Duffy is flexible and fit enough to do a job, at least he's a proper defender and I'd rather see him there than Joe and Lloyd on the left which all looks a bit too inexperienced.

I'm tempted to go with McA in midfield, Burge is a shoe in, however, with LLoyd in there too, Shuker represents a bit more continuity and experience. I'd aim to replace Shuker with McAllister after an hour however well or badly it's going.

Williamson would be unlucky not to start as I think he would get better with more game time but I just like Dodds' work rate and experience a bit better. I think he's a bit more helpful when the midfield is struggling as it's apt to do with two widemen, especially as one of them's a rookie.

On the principle of having kept a clean sheet in the last game earns the shirt next time, I'm preferring Davis to McC - though, again you could argue the defence is already a bit out of kilter with the left back problem and McC sounds a safer option.
