Not sure I've just bought 50 odd from 1950 upto 1976 and paid £60 more as a favour than anything else as he was collecting money for his new love Dundee.

 

Whilst we're talking programmes do you know where I can get hold of the programme for Saturday 14th December 1968 Vs Notts County, we lost 2-0?

 

BTW was also looking on a couple of websites and for "very rare" programmes from the 1940's they were asking about £30 each.

If the 1940s ones have had the staples removed (no rust) and they have no punch holes (binder freaks) they could be up to 40 sheets each. Check if there's any significance to the matches that are not obvious. You may of course get more for one from a supporter of the other team. It can also depend on the print run. A lot of Vale progs are rare due to cr@ppy numbers being printed for each game. A lot of 50s stuff could be about a tenner a pop these days
