Nail. Coffin. And it’s probably still come as a shock to the powers that be steering the ship. They hung onto Moore until they were a whisker away from being called in for assessment at the Harplands. Moore’s wife serving up the roast taters saying we wouldn’t go down is no doubt ringing around their heads.

Now it’s look in the mirror time.
What is wrong?

Hancock.

Darnborough & Recruitment team.

Club is too nice. Winners aren’t too nice. Winners are motivated and are attracted to winners. Not dinners.

Get quality over quantity. Get heads from arse and stop making the repeat mistakes.

Now the owners need to re-invent themselves and surround themselves with winners. Not charlatans, incompetents and wage stealing nice, but dim guys.

Wake up.

If JBs contract is anything to show for, they have hopefully learned and JB is most likely getting a new one. So i am hoping to not see any more than 2 year max. Ideally 1 year contract with an option of extension depending on JBs results in League two

I’m a lot happier with his style of play than Moore and a lot happier than you seem to be- never a good word to say

It shows you how clueless you are on both comments

Why does Brady deserve an extension to his contract ?

I really think our contracts need more vigorous performance clauses before length, not just on the management side. It seems with Vale we give contracts that come down to, if you’re crap you can stay, but if you’re decent like Tolaj to can leave. Should be the other way round.

Thank god it's over.

Thank you Carol for the memories. 150 year celebration and we have been served and absolute dogs dinner of a season. Not to forget the collosal amount of debt wracked up to bring us this proud moment.

Wake up Carol before the mess becomes to big to salvage. The people you have put your faith in not once but twice now have completely hoodwinked you. Feels like we paid for Bentley but got Del Boys three wheeler...and that was missing a wheel.

Best owners we could have wished for are heading towards leaving an absolutely devastating legacy. Only at the Vale.

Well, if you read the last part, it would be dependent on his result I.E do good and we guarantee you can stay.

So, he’s currently on the right contract then

We got to stop with the Tolaj stuff. We most likely couldn't do <ovf censored> all once Plymouth had their eyes set on him. All we can hopefore is that we spend that money well. Which is apprant that we did not. Think what we need is maybe performance clauses on the recuritment team.

It would seem so.

Look on the bright side, Not many teams can say they have had two promotions in the span of four years 😛

Are you happy with Brady’s style of play and do you think his style of play will change next season ?

Considering he’s already said he doesn’t want to play this way but he has to work with the tools he’s been given, yes

I don't really understand this line of thinking, I mean, this is just how contracts work isn't it?

It's not as though we've hired him for maternity cover.

Not sure why you quoted my post since I said the Jury is still out for me on Brady. I'm much rather on the fence with him.

You can still give an opinion on the football on view though and and most times it was like Moore never left. Negative tactics , slow boring football going side to side and backwards passing with the goalkeeper smashing the ball back out for a throw in. trying to find the lone striker who's not had a touch of the ball for 30 minutes because no one can make a decent forward ball or look for the run on the flanks for the winger to get a decent cross in.

Maybe he can change it around with a good summer and recruitment.

But I really don't think I have in me to watch another season with 5 at the back and another Brown/Faal striker starting uptop

Which of our midfield players do you believe are capable of doing more than play the ball side to side and backwards? They haven't done it all season and every time they try to play a long forward ball it is wildy inaccurate so i'd say it was more to do with DM recruiting numerous versions of the same limited, defensive midfielder than anything Brady has said to them. Nor did Jb bring faal or brown here so I dont get why thats his fault but with stockley injured, cole gone , tolaj never replaced and waine missing sitters he doesn't exactly have many choices.

I don't think he should have let paton go and I think he expected a little more from gray and probably hoped stockley would have managed more games but I think a lot of the january decisions were budget decisions not football ones. Thats not on him either Im sure he would have brought guehi, kane and haaland in if he could have.

Well, i guess we will see if he ends up in Swindon in the middle of next season

So, he’s currently on the right contract then
Brady has even said he is not playing the style or formation he wants because of the players he has.
