Gordon Lee last manager who managed in a higher league  after leaving us, Blackburn, Everton and Newcastle. When Managing Blackburn we may played against them in their promotion season.

Player Morsy.

Adams to Blades? Page to Wales?

Tommy McDermott playing for Shrewsbury.

He’s the number 7 for them

Sam Morsy signed for Bristol City. What a great career he’s ended up having.

Micky Adams managed in the Prem before he came to us. I think the question I answered was name a Vale manager who went on to manage in a higher league. Quite a few never had another manager job.

Bobby Smith who managed Swindon in Div 3 whilst we were in Div 4 in 1978

Aiden Stone at Truro, Sammy Robinson at Buxton, and Gavin Massey at Bury in the Northern Premier League.  Oh what a squad we had the last time in League 1!

Harry Charsley now signed for Truro. Askey signing old Vale players there like he did old Macclesfield ones when with us.

Scrolling through Twitter last night and came across someone who posted a list of loads of FA disciplinary outcomes from December and November. Looks like they have a hearing soon for that incident between Kidsgrove and Avro last year.

Also saw Gibbo was up for league two player of the month for December.

Shame that, he must only be about 27/28 and showed some potential.

Micky Adams biggest fail was the Morsy situation. Went on to play in the Premier league and international football. Imagine if we had kept him a bit longer and the money we could have made from the sale
