Talking of goalies. Connor Ripley is getting some stick after last nights Swindle v Salford  game. Faceache fans want him gone. He flatters to deceive (again)

No stick here. Just the Swindon fans saying how good he’s been this season

IMHO Ripley should still be at the Vale with Amos as back up 'Keeper.

No way! He is totally overrated

No longer Dave Worrall, he has retired today.

A true Vale legend and a model professional. He has had a fabulous playing career and at every club he played for he always impressed me and I am so glad that we got to see him play in a Vale shirt. Without a doubt the best signing that Michael Brown made as Vale manager.

Was an incredible player for us. Tough to think we almost never got to see the best of him if it was left to Aspin. Thankfully John Askey came in just in time. Only behind Guppy in my opinion as best Vale crossers of a ball I've seen.

Wonder if we might have been able to squeeze another year or two out of him at Vale if when DC came in we didn't shoehorn him in as a wingback.

A legend and cult hero. Was a massive part of the DC promotion season.

Best winger of the recent times.

What a player

Did you see the game vs Mansfield on Saturday, If Ripley was still at Vale and in goal for that game it's unlikely he would have made a mess of the shot and cross as Amos did, cost 2 goals.

Can't praise Dave Worrall enough for his time at Vale, excellent, skillful, whole hearted player and came over as a top guy.

He is the most overrated keeper that I have seen in my 45 years fold supporting Vale.

He came with a massive reputation but flattered to deceive on many occasions.

And that’s why he’s already so many club’s with most of them being in the lower league of one & two because he gets found out.

Ben Amos would have saved the goal that Conor Ripley let in against Salford the other night
