Match Thread: Rotherham Utd v Port Vale

DMs got it wrong here. Completing my own bingo card but….

Wrong formation. Didn’t work last season, best player stuck out wide. Dominated in midfield, walters not in the squad.
Debrah crap, keeper looks crap (both positions I said we needed to strengthen) Headley was just as poor

It’s good to be back.

Well things can only get better.

Never a sending off for me.

If you slide in with a foot higher than the ball you run the risk of a red more often than not in this day and age. Always looks worse when trying to recover from a bad touch. Silly boy who was struggling from the off.

I do hate 4-3-3 but 4-3-2 is even worse

Depends if they’re ball watching or not

Get over it and admit it was a very good goal. I wish our forwards could get some service like that!

5-3-tolaj

Nah he went over the ball, so his studs were about a foot off the ground. Headley was getting caught out whenever the ball came his way, and again that came from him mis-controlling and then lunging in

All down to his terrible first touch that knocked the ball 3 yards away. He'd been off it since the start, far too casual

Woeful all around the park. Can't think of one player who has turned up including Byers btw. It's all very well saying that pre-season matches don't matter but they should create not just fitness but structure, teamwork and above all confidence. From minute one this has been a shambles.

Watch it again. It’s a good goal and poor defending! The ball has travelled nearly half the pitch, a cb should not be caught out there

I can see why the ref gave it as he only gets one look. But I think he could have easily given a yellow. You will see far worse challenges that don't result in a red.

I laugh at the comments

The keeper is crap,so is Debrah,Moore out

And it isn't even half time

Are you at the game?

Usual suspects are out and it’s not even half time in the first game of the season
