We haven’t been awful or anything but the stuff you could get away with in L2 is getting exposed at this level. The goal we conceded was exactly how Barnsley did us repeatedly in that 7-0.

Only 25 mins into the season and I’ve managed to scratch off a lot of standard forum comments off my bingo card already.

Well 25 mins in this is exactly what is happening. Overrun in midfield, Tolaj wasted. Stockley isolated. No space for the wingbacks to run into. 

Tolaj‘s hold up play is excellent. Fear he’s wasted shoved out on the right. 

Tactical mess so far. Have managed to nullify our own strongest area of the pitch by playing 2 rather than 3 midfielders and the threat of our best attacker by shifting Tolaj out right.

Right that’s awful. Unforgivable defending on that corner.
