    How many times have we said we'd like a striker that doesn't move either side of the edge of the penalty box and doesnt come any further back then the half way line (that will make any opposition leave at least two men in defence against him).  I hope Cole and/or Brown does that and just demands to be fed good service.  

    I'm racking my brians but i'm sure, in recent years, we had a great striker - score lots of goals, and there was a song about feeding him and he would score....??  What was it now....🤔🤣

    It was interesting to hear DM's interview last night and find out that we beat fellow L1 clubs, Championship clubs and Scottish Premiership clubs for George Hall's signature.

    In the latest Substack article DM told Mike last night that in regards to Shorrock he just missed out on a loan to a L2 club on Monday but that we are looking at the National League to see if we can get an opportunity for him to go out on loan.

    At 30 years old he’s not going to run around chasing lost causes, he’s going save himself for key moments to put the ball in the back of the net. Thats what we need, we have a midfield and forwards full of runners.

    It is poachers that we need, they know where the goals are more likely and how to put them away.
