Shorrock is behind others to get in the starting 11. Probably wont even make the bench. Headley, Gordon, John plus possible formation change to 4 3 3

He is still our player. Lets develop him further playing 30 games this season, in a good standard of football. If he plays regularly, one or two goals, one or two man of match performance, gets some excellent reviews, what is better than that ?

Comes back to us with experience and further development we cannot offer him this season. Hopefully all good for player and PVFC

But if he wasnt a bit of a gamble we wouldn't be able to sign him. He has the talent to play for a bigger club.

You’d hope so but they’ve clearly spent plenty of time today with the media pictures instead of just doing a dirty photoshop and announcing. More might happen but I think we’ll be waiting for the comms.

Crikey. There's two hours to going the window and we've signed a very highly rated and promising attacking midfielder. One who a couple of years ago made 30 championship appearances. We have a team that lacks a bit at the front end and have partly addressed it with this signing. Decent striker to follow and Moore will have addressed my biggest concerns with the squad.

Strange really that Walsall fans who actually watched him last season seem to be gutted he has come to us as they wanted him back...but crack on me owd fruit

 

I'd rather we hold on to Walters and get more money for him. Hes gonna be well worth more then a mill 

He's under contact for another 3 years. 

Hopefully vale hold Their nerve and let his stock continue to rise 

Walters for anything less than club record sale and we riot.

I wouldn’t mind Cole, but he’s scored 1 goal in almost 18 months.

For me, Pearce is probably the better signing, especially if the outlay allows us to sign Hall.
