1)There was a contract on the table for Artel so there must be room for at least one more player....Dickinson.

2)The 20 player limit usually doesn't include players under 21 at the start of the season....Johnson/Davis/Lloyd/Morsy.

Essentially the club doesn't even have a matchday 18 without kids and even before suspensions and injuries the squad is just 17 senior players for 50+ league & cup games.

3)Shouldn't Adams use that vast experience and list of contacts to get a few free loan players from Premiership/Championship

clubs or is that also not allowed by a profit led administrator.

Looks like 17 players and one short of a matchday squad with a fair few that have recent injury records....doesn't look like a

first team squad for a full season.....perhaps if Purcell and Dickinson had been signed earlier and somehow Collins arrived on a seasons long loan then the squad would look just about complete and more competitive.
