Andy griffin would be the best left back in this league by far.

 

Tough tackler, honest pro and massive amounts of experience!

 

Can't see it myself but it'd be a massive signing and great in the dressing room also.

 

I cant for the life of me see why some are saying do me a favour about Griffin,imo they will have little knowledge of football(no offence intended to them as that's my opinion),i think he has played most of his career in the top divisions and is still only 32 or 33,**** me backwards,he would be class in league 2.

What happened to the James Beattie rumours?

 

Griffin could be a realistic signing, but i can't see us chucking over £200,000 on Constable - a 1in3 a season, L2 striker.

 

 

The thing is, the prospective future signings are now missing out on the MA pre season toil.

 

I think melv has touched on this, but the sooner the FL give the go ahead to KR & PVFC, the better.

 

Beattie seems to have disappeared of all clubs radars,as he doesn't seem to be linked with anybody at the moment.As for spending money,i know i keep saying it but it might be better to bring in a younger non league striker for say 100,000.

I don't see the point in spending 350k on Constable as with Phillips and Heskey upfront he won't get in the team, and just where/when will Beattie & Earnshaw play aswell?;):rolleyes:

When are some people (ok, I will say 'we' as I also get conned) going to learn that just any old nutcase, wind-up merchant, agent, player, fan of another club,bored earth burrower or many other shades of creature can post on that football rumours website then sit back and watch 50 replies and several hundred views of the resultant post on OVF which satisfies there craving for attention for an hour or two ?

Now if by some chance I have posted this about one of the very few rumours on there that turns out to be true, then apologies, but this one sounds like it is direct from the nursery - 350k ???? come on, that is insanity to think we will spend that sort of money.

And he was still selected for Reading last season who won promotion to the premier league. Get him signed!
