Dickinson is exciting in prospect, as is a fully it Vincent. I think Lloyd ,if Adam's gives him some game time, has the potential to be an cracking little player.

Griff was there to do the tackling and give it 5 yards. In days when I used to watch Stoke and Vale I can recall Paul Bracewell leaving. He was not really appreciated until he had gone, when the huge hole he was filling in preventing the opposition midfield walking straight down the pitch became obvious.

 

It is worth noting Spain and Barcelona. They adopt rugby style passing - next nearest man everytime. That means quite often the 20 yard ball out wide or ball forward is rejected. That is why their pass statistics are in the high 80's in terms of reliability and why the ball is not given away. Of course I completely accept that their players are at a much higher level and their passing short or not is a greater attacking threat than Vale or Griff personally threaten.

Myrie Williams and Vincent are exciting players. And if we can sign a couple of forwards, like Dickenson, they will excite us I'm sure.

We are a Div 2 club, after all, not Real Madrid. What did people expect?

 

The defence looks stronger and both Shuker and Dodds played well towards the end of last season. We might do quite well as long as we can score enough goals but it's exciting having six new faces to watch in pre-season.

Exactly, the amount of people that are ripping into Griff were funnily enough joining in the "Going Gay for Griff" last season due to the outstanding work he was doing. Fickle!! (but that goes with all football fans)
