Now then does anyone still think that our budget isn't at least the same as the league 1 one? She is backing him to the hilt .. we gave her stick last season but a massive well done to Carol and Kevin in trying to rectify things

Well it does not appear it has been cut this season which is great news. It was certainly cut for our last season in League 1 however.

Anyone is better than Sod Hall.

Off topic but the best ever nickname in football.

One size.

Fitz Hall . Quality.

All of our signings this summer I would have been happy with last summer, in the league above. What kind of magic, voodoo or demon sorcery is going on at Vale Park?

Does anyone think we’ll offer Wynne a contract.?

He's onto a Wynner if he does , mate

If we haven't got the best two keepers in League Two then I'm a Chinaman.

Amos kept 20 clean sheets when wigan topped league one but sat on the bench last season as he was kept out by ermmmmm Mr Tickle (ever likely though with the length of his arms)

Not according to Moore, he wants competition for the jersey.

Yep for me I'd prefer Amos

as vale number one, he's got bags of experience and for me he wouldn't have agreed come just to be an understudy , I don't mind Ripley don't get me wrong I just think

Amos will give us a more calming influence at the back  whereas Ripley tends to switch off too much and wants to get involved in the game too much when it's not necessary

Thought Tess looked decent at Vale Park even though he conceded 3. Decent young keeper.

Who we bring in now in the CB position will be massive, the last really major position to fill although we would need another full back and wireman imo

Would he settle on being a back-up in L2?

I don’t get all the fuss surrounding Ripley, been relegated in successive seasons and when you look at his career has very little experience.  I think it’s only right that we get in someone to compete for the jersey, because I think Amos could be number 1.

I hope he’s more vocal on the pitch than in his interviews! Jeez cheer up Ben you’ve just signed for the mighty Vale 🧤

No - he’s been recently loaned out to Brackley and is a striker, which seems unlikely.
