He was shocking yesterday, 2nd worst player on the pitch behind Lowe but I think he could be a decent left back in a back 4, same as Cass, neither are wing backs but played as full backs they could be decent. Said it when we signed Cass- terrible signing unless we change our system and potentially proven right if reports of how he is doing at Stockport are correct.

Really disappointed so far by Moore I know he's stuck with the same players ,but I was expecting him to sort something out with the defence ,but we still look awful at the back and always look like there's a mistake about to happen

Season tickets need to be sold just to keep Moore's contract going otherwise next season may be worse than some are anticipating

He' actually stuck with a lesser squad than what Crosby had.

Crosby had Arblaster & Devine plus Thomas remember. Moore not had that privilege

How bad was Jones ? Didn't go as went out and enjoyed myself instead. 
I'm really biased as I've long been an advocate that he's utterly garbage. Weirdly overrated on here.
My lad said he never wants to see him in a Vale shirt again and he's usually quite reserved. So I assumed that he must of been horrific.

With the dearth of attacking options, the only way this team was going to have a chance of staying up was with an excellent defence and nicking the odd win.

We perhaps should have gone for a manager more suited to managing lower-ability players and creating an excellent defence. Moore must have qualities to deliver 96 points in a League 1 season, but perhaps not qualities for this specific situation.

Kennedy would have probably been a better short-term choice. Had Lincoln with one of the best defence’s in League 1 last season and, although Skubala has them flying now, it’s largely Kennedy’s squad and Skubala has benefitted with the return + signing of some forwards. 

Ah, well. Nevertheless. With Moore’s rumoured wage and contract length we are tied to him for the foreseeable and need to hope he can turn both PVFC’s and his own collapse in form around from August onwards.

I don't know what can be done with a defence that keeps making exactly the same mistakes and attackers that don't score. Ultimately they just aren't good enough at L1 level and drilling them on the training pitch won't work. Crosby or Moore or anyone else - it doesn't matter.
