An Open Letter from Carol

Featured Replies

The old adage that protests will put off a potential manager is rubbish and just a ready made excuse for when the next Flitcroft puppet is appointed and goes wrong again. David Flitcroft does what's best for David Flitcroft. End of.

I'm just going to listen to Carol for now. Everything she has said is true we have come a long long way. The club needs all the support it can get. Let's get behind them.

But that totally ignores all the stuff this season that will see all of that undone.

Carol, that is a superb letter.

Ultimately herself & Kevin own the club & they deserve our respect. As owner of the club she had every right to entrust Flitcroft with the job she bought him in to do. We are unrecognisable from when he first came to the club, nobody can deny that.

The message is loud & clear. He's here to stay, Carol's here to stay. There will be ups & downs (potentially even a relegation along the way) but ultimately we are working to improve the club over the long term. The letter rubber stamps this.

Whether you agree with her or not, you have to respect her opinion & she's right about the potential protests. Very subtly hinting that potential managers will be looking at that before they make a decision to join us. DF is no Norman. He may have appalling interpersonal skills & he might come across like a used car salesman at times with the language he spouts, but ultimately he will be doing his best for this club. Even when that's not good enough (Jan transfer window).

I hope we can come together as a fan base. We might go down. Does anybody want that to happen, absolutely not. Would we be in a much stronger position to bounce back, yes absolutely.

The journey continues. Ultimately you either come along for the ride or you don't.

It’s not thought is it. It completely ignores all negatives and praises the bloke for failures. League 1 survival ranked below a cup run and a new pitch.

We should come together as a fan base, to get Flitcroft out of the club. I for one will not be attending until he is gone.

We don't know if we are going down yet. I understand everyone is worried but we definitely still have time to get out of relegation.

We’ve come a long way? What 4th bottom? Brilliant. Once were relegated we’re back to square on, but at least we will have nice toilets and the best scoreboard in league 2. We aren’t progressing and Carol seems happy to continue this way. Fuxking joke of a club

I'm sick of all this negativity. When Carol took over we were in the <ovf censored> in every aspect of the club. We have come a long long way. It's not all been for nothing yet. We should get behind the club.

Come along way we're back where we started near enough. But with broken bogs. Terrible statement. Literally banging on about the community for three quarters of it. Football got a little mention at the end.

Have a bit of hope. One thing go's wrong and you lot are all angry. Yes look at the negatives but non of you lot look at any positives.

Well, if we go down we’ve not really come anywhere. 5m in debt and League 2 is broadly where Norman left us.

Have we gone down yet?

Stop talking bollox mate. Bogs won’t be sorted by then!

If people don’t like what she’s said don’t go to matches anymore. Thats a noticeable form of protest
