Yesterday I saw a Vale fan say after the open letter was released that Carol was "deffo in love with Flitcroft" and they were serious. What does that achieve?

I also would have liked to have seen us bring someone in with not only experience but a bit of success in and around League 1/2. The one ex player I would have wanted is Ainsworth because he has a promotion under his belt but he isn't available/interested clearly. The other appointments in the past of Foyle/Aspin etc always felt desperate but Ainsworth's experience is vast at this level. Ah well.

I guess the other issue that has forced their hand is the availability of other coaches. They haven't got the time to wait even a day which means the pool is smaller.

I'd take Dr Karl Kennedy if he could keep us up.

Fans are fuming over piss poor results,  performances , piss poor recruitment & being told to not criticise Flitcroft

Anyway a few people have mentioned it but I'm on the side of wanting an experienced manager. I think the situation we are in we need a trusted hand.

kenneday won more than he lost with Lincoln 

Someone posted his league positions with Lincoln were decent better than Crosbys
