If this rumour turns out to be a lie, which i have no doubt it will, then please can we name and shame the source from within the club who 'leaked' this information, as he/she is clearly a mole. Either that or the person that started this thread is.

Right, I've just this second come off the phone from Martin Tideswell after a ten minute call and he has told me to post the following things:

 

The Supporters club know nothing at all in regards to KR and the takeover

 

The SC have been garuanteed by BY and the solicitors that they will be the first ones to know once everything has been finalised

 

The SC don't want to release a statement at the moment because they simply have nothing to say

 

The original date for completion of take over was the 22nd June so were not really delayed

 

He says that the hold up is with the solicitors and not with KR

 

The SC have a lot to sort out with KR as they have plans with regards to the statue but cannot set a date yet as Keith obviously hasn't completed his takeover!

 

Hope this clears everything up

This is exactly the type of thread that makes OVF a laughing stock at the minute.

 

Somebody posts something from a 'reliable source', with absolutely no evidence whatsoever to back it up. It will get jumped upon by all the usual suspects, assumed to be true, and suddenly Keith Ryder is the devil incarnate.

 

And don't give me the crap that this is what messageboards and forums are for.

What the hell are the SC supposed to do!?

 

The sort of thing that they did extremely well in the recent past, that is to ask the Administrator if the documentation has been supplied and, if not, when it will be. The SC has done a fine job in many ways and it would be perfectly reasonable for them to ask for information.

 

As the thread says, "the silence is defening" (sic).

 

But I do agree with tisdeano: God knows. ;-)

I've also heard this story, I got told from someone within the club!

 

So are you now happy with what Tideswell has just told you over your phonecall or do you believe what you source from inside the club says?
