Ernie moss rules and iron curtain.  I know IC does still comment,  but nothing remotely like he used to. Robbie Earles perm, repeatedly banned, lol.  

I think people almost become obsessed with posting,  it's addictive,  then suddenly decide to stop.

Sadly, Barry's issues with eye sight have made it really difficult for him to participate. I've tried to customise some parts of the site for him, but it's still too difficult for him to post in the forum.

However, I can confirm that Barry is still in fine form and in regular email communication via his lovely wife Ann. They are both doing well and Barry still keeps up with the Vale both reading content on here and other sites. 

I also know that Barry was apparently jumping up and down and cheering in the early hours this weekend, following Vale's dramatic 3-3 draw against Charlton! 

I know loads of you miss his poems, his memoirs, his competitions and other contributions (I do) so if anyone wants a message passing on to him do let me know.

Rob, I’m glad to hear news of Barry. I was reminded of the issues he had. We are all getting older. I’ve been a Vale fan for almost 70 years. Me grandad took me to my first match. Boxing Day 1955. We lost (as has become common) to Barnsley.

I was a member of ‘one Vale in bristol’ joined in 1999 when living in London. I tried to form a London Valiants group only to find out that Birdie had beat me to it

The original Sage and Coop are another 2 from the OVF in Bristol Days. I still see Coop( Chris) on Facebook, not seen or heard of Sage ( Adrian ) for a long while.
