I tend to suggest my mindset will be heavily influenced by results over the next few weeks…as will everyone else’s. 

Just read Fleetwood captain Josh Vela has signed for Carlisle. The optics of that don’t  look good when you sell your captain to a relegation rival.

Gives me hope a deal could be struck with them.

Nippy I agree. Yes he gets injured but his contribution on its own would be better than Clark and Jones combined.

So DF has given some info tonight on Radio Stoke

we have moved on from initial targets and you can get some good strikers out of Premier League 2

We are looking at the Scandinavian markets and Australian now as we have scouts there along with Ireland and Scotland,we are talking to some agents in Australia.

Looking at an aggressive lwb from a premier league club,one that likes to take players on and is quick

I’ve seen Stevenage play three times this season and think they are a horrible watch. Reid and Piergianni are decent players but most of the others are bang average. In my opinion they won’t go up and could be well victims of second season syndrome next season.

The non league market has become to expensive now,one we looked at has gone Brentford

We will probably wait until the summer to put the money into a striker(like we did with the keeper last summer) when more will be available

we are getting closer to a deal with Walters,he wants to sign for the club,his mum wants him to sign for the club so its edging closer and Shorrock has been offered something

DF was quite open tbf but it looks like we are looking for a loan striker and lwb

Me too and yes not great but to be fair we certainly didn’t contribute to the entertainment of those games. 

He also said one of our first targets was a premier lwb on loan but he chose to go to a Belgian club
