Mmm lifestyle in Barcelona or Boslem? and too young to drink in the Bulls !

Tough one. 😆

I've seen younger than him drinking in the Bulls 😁

Just off topic for a bit... has anyone else noticed the number of uninformed Man Utd "fans" who are suddenly upset that Dan Gore may be going to Port Vale. I did a Twitter search for "Port Vale" and the latest posts are just chocka of uninformed nonsense from fans who think their teenaged talent (with one minute of League action to his name) is far too good for the likes of Port Vale.
[/url] I presume that's because they haven't heard of us because we're not on Sky Sports every week and that they've got no clue that though Dan Gore may be "far better than Port Vale" we've now got a proven record of looking after young loan players and that we can give him plenty of first-team starts, something a kid with one minute of senior football may not get in the Championship or Premier League.
Thank goodness, I'm not a supporter of a "big" club, I don't think I could take that amount of rubbish, spouted by uninformed idiots.
And if you ever get fed up about a topic on OVF, it's well worth a brief trip onto Twitter - the amount of garbage on there may rapidly restore your faith in the quality of debate on here!
Rant over...
None of them ever go. That's why I don't bother with the Premier League anymore. They only think that they exist. At least with the likes of Brentford, Bournemouth etc. they can still remember what it was like to be a lower league club. Even most real Man City fans preferred it when they were in league 1. I'd love to see a united get relegated one day, that would really sort out who the 'real' fans are. Annoys me that I know people who support United or Liverpool who are from Stoke and have literally no connection with these places. It's so easy to support a team that wins most weeks. The real football people are those who support a team through highs and lows.

The amount of time's that you have to go around in circles on here is crazy and it just spams the board.

U talking to yourself there

Gore looks good playing with other youngsters, let him grow up playing against adults as other England youngsters have done.  A test of his character as well as his skills.

Sorry to be pedantic Badboy, and it maybe just me but I really hate it when fans of other clubs refer to Manchester United as "United". I find this lauded familiarity quite nauseating. We never seem to see them being referred to as just Manchester as we do Bristol or Sheffield. Minor issue I know but whenever I meet  a fellow football fan and they say they support "United", I often reply with "Ah, shame Rotherham are struggling this year"
Is it just me?
Point taken..[emoji1303] But with Manchester United being mentioned in the post i was referring to, i didn't think anything about it. Sorry [emoji482]

I think the good thing about all of this is that we are now  getting a reputation for looking after young talent from the Premier League and Championship, remember the times when we used to say how come they can loan a player from the Premier yet we loan league one players..... but now look Liverpool/Man Utd/Tottenham etc .. personally i think its fantastic along with our own lads coming through the system.

Onwards and Upwards

No need to apologise. I was wondering if any other fans felt the same way.

Annoys me as well Doc.  When they play  Newcastle they get referred to as "United" yet Newcastle were United in 1892 while Manchester Reds were still Newton Heath!

I'll keep you guessing with that one.

You’re Nathan smith keeping an eye on VFIA / Devine intervention?
