if vale lose richards to ANY team in this division it shows a lack of ambition imo . that is unless vale already have two 20 goal a season players lined up ! we should be adding to our quality not losing it.

Why would Richards want to go to Chesterfiled other than for a lot more money in his wage packet? They've just been relegated, their support is a lot less than ours. They have a new ground which is about the only positive. If he goes to any other League 2 Club I think it shows a lack of ambition on his part.

We MUST keep Rico!!! He is a key part of our promotion bid. We lose him then we may aswel get use to the idea of a season lacking goals, ambition and drive

Simples really, they pay substantially more than we do.

 

I believe Rico is gone, he will go to the team most local to his home that is paying the most, he has shown great loyalty to Vale & at 29 this represents his last big payday opportunity.

 

Even with Ryders cash we are still unable to match some clubs wage offerings.
